WRPB Associates gathers the expertise of 4 retail professionals with years of experience in studying and analysing consumers lifestyles and their global evolution. In this unprecedented moment of modern human history, we felt the need to gather our forces and offer an integrated method to guide the evolution of retail towards a sustainable and efficient model.
FATIMA WHITAKER
Fátima Whitaker graduated from Studio Berçot in Paris and then joined Parisian company Promostyl as trend forecaster, where she worked for many years in NY. In 1991 Fátima opens her company Whitaker International with a unique market vision of segmenting consumers by lifestyle instead of the usual demographics’ as age/income. She implemented her Whitaker Lifestyle Method in several companies in the USA, Germany, Mexico, France, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Brazil, Singapore, among other global retailers. Fátima has been a speaker at IGDS, National Retail Federation, ICSC, World Future Society among others, and taught at Nova University in Lisbon, as well as Wharton Business School in Philadelphia, the first on retail MBAs with the title: Visual Esthetics and Style in Retail Merchandising.
CLAUDIA RIBEIRO
Claudia started her career in 2008 working with Fatima Whitaker in NY as her Merchandiser by Lifestyle and later on she moved on to Trend Lifestyle Research Director. Today she is perpetuating the Whitaker Lifestyle Method legacy and implementation around the world as Fatima’s Partner at Whitaker International.
Claudia, builds and teaches creative teams from product development, merchandising, to marketing media, e-commerce strategies, all by Lifestyle, fitting the needs of each company or brand
RICARDO PRETO
Ricardo designs his own collection since 2006, as well as private brands for women and men to Department Stores. His collections have the fully integrated Whitaker Lifestyle Method, which allows him to build a complete wardrobe geared to specific lifestyles with a complete range of shoes bags and accessories. Ricardo Preto’s collections allow an easy visual merchandising and buying method where the different items can be coordinated with in several deliveries, maintaining always the vision of who is the target customer. As a Creative Director and Designer Ricardo has a vast experience working in Asia and Europe. He also collaborated with international brands such as Nike, Silhouette, Levi’s, Bic among others.
NICOLETTA BONOMO
Nicoletta is Quadrifoglio’s Founder and her target is to make retail a sustainable business model improving the efficiency of merchandising and buying, the key areas that contribute to make fashion one of the worst polluters in the world. After graduating in economy and a master in retail business, Nicoletta worked for more than 20 years as Senior Buyer and Product Manager for global department stores and retailers, developing their own merchandising and buying strategy. Through Quadrifoglio, she has worked for major retailers and manufacturers worldwide teaching and implementing her merchandising and buying process. Nicoletta has been a speaker at IGDS, SMI and teaches at fashion business schools like ISEM and ITS Machina Lonati.
